MEXICO PLANS OFFICIAL WORLD DAY FOR HUMAN RIGHTS OF THE UNBORN TO BE HELD DEC. 8

Pro-life advocates in Mexico launched a series of events to commemorate the official World Day for the Human Rights of the Unborn to be held on Dec. 8.

The events, planned by the civil association Rights of the Unborn in Mexico, will begin on Nov. 19 at the Old Basilica of Guadalupe in Mexico City. The day will begin with a ceremony honoring mothers and pregnant woman who chose to have their babies despite difficult situations.

On Dec. 3, a Pilgrimage for Life will take place in Mexico City, culminating with a Mass at the Old Basilica of Guadalupe at 1:00 p.m. local time.

The World Day for the Human Rights of the Unborn on Dec. 8 will begin with a Mass celebrated at the Shrine of the Victims of Abortion to pray for women who have undergone abortions and for those who perform them.

The Rights of the Unborn association and the Old Basilica of Guadalupe regularly host a day of prayer every third Sunday, with Mass and Eucharistic adoration for couples unable to have children, pregnant women, newborns and unmarried couples striving to live in chastity.
